So I spent last night working on some new notecards, a better presentation I think. I’ve looked at tons of different sellers on Etsy and how they present and create their handmade cards for inspirations. I think my new cards look much better now. I’ve also added some new pieces to my listings on Etsy so come on over and check them out.

I’ve been doing some number crunching and I’ve realized that some of my work may be a little over priced. So I’ve decided to reduce the prices of all my goods on the Etsy store permanently. I’ve always considered that when it comes to fine arts work should be priced according to the value of the work as a piece of art and not necessarily its physical value. However in the last few weeks I’ve realized that my work can be valued in a much more unique way, by the amount of people who appreciate it and enjoy it in their homes. It seems to me that if they can’t afford it they can’t fully appreciate the work and love that went into creating it. So hopefully my work will have an opportunity to join many more happy homes at their new reduced prices. I’d love to hear what people think of the current prices, are they to much still or a reasonable price?

I wanted to share the following with you, I came across the blog of a fellow Etsyer a bit a go and she’s currently holding a lottery to raise funds that will go to the RSPCA - The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. I’ve owned my share of pets since I was a child and have currently acquired a kitten. I have seen cruelty towards animals, it’s no laughing matter so participating in this lottery is my small way of helping out. I’d like to direct everyone who reads this post to at least take the time and see all the various items that you will be able to win by just buying a $1 lottery ticket at www.allthosethrees.etsy.com. There’s currently 7 handmade pieces that will go to one lucky lottery winner, including one of my signed archival prints (pictured above), So go and check them out and please donate by buying a ticket its just a dollar, much less than gas. Only 6 days left of the lottery.
Awesome, I had my first Etsy sale this weekend from Miss Nina also known as übercherry, she’s got an Etsy shop of her own, you guys should check it out cool stuff over there. I’m very happy she enjoyed my work, she picked up some Note Cards over at my Etsy shop. I’m getting those ready for her as we speak, I’ll post a photo as soon as they are ready. Thanks again Nina - ![]()
I’m hoping to get around to putting up some new prints and cards over at my shop in the next few days but If anyone has any suggestions on other items they’d like to see I’d love to hear about it. Comments are great, leave one.

I decided to make some notecards/postcards out of some of the prints I’ve been doing recently. They turned out a lot better than I thought they would. I posted a few on my Etsy Store, go check them out and let me know what you think. They aren’t really postcards as in they aren’t printed on a heavyweight paper but they are on archival paper so it would work for framing the piece is one was so inclined. I did include a nice white wove envelope with the cards to help incase anyone wanted to mail them. I even printed the title of each piece on the corresponding envelope. I’m proud of my little project, hope someone likes them. Comments are always welcome, so comment away.

Today was kinda crazy, a very busy day. I finally got around to putting some of my prints on my Etsy shop so stop by and take a look. Anyway work was crazy today and then I got home to try and do some of my work. I’ve been going at it for a while, anyway I’m posting this image I shot today of a bunny. I’m hoping to do something interesting with it over the next few days but I thought I’d post the work in progress starting with the first image. Well I’m off to a late, late dinner. Comments are always welcome, bring them on.

This is a piece from a few years ago, I thought I’d put it up for fun. It’s one of my favorites!
I’ve been considering putting up some prints of my work up on the etsy store, but I’m not sure. I usually only make prints for myself of my digital pieces since they are meant to be seen through layers with back lighting. However I’ve had some interest for prints of these pieces. I was thinking I could do a small run of 25 prints of my Conceptions Series. Maybe I could also put up some black and white prints to try it out. I’ve also been considering getting back into handcoloring, I haven’t done that in a long time and I always had so much fun with it. Well any suggestions would be much appreciated.
I had been hearing a lot about www.etsy.com so I checked it out today. It turns out it’s a pretty cool place and lots of interesting work floating around. So anyway I thought it would be nice to have some of my pieces still available for sale and putting them up on the store. Maybe who knows over the next few months I’ll have some new exciting pieces to post as well. Well I’d like to invite everyone to stop by my new store and check out some pieces, comments are always welcome.
